But we don't fight over it. I'm 48, and once in a while mom might voice her opinion, but that's it. She was the same way with friends/boyfriends. All that time she got every single little thing she wanted and now she is very spoiled, fighting with us, yelling at us just because we say it is bed time. I would say trying to get people to not spoil her to such extent and saying no once in a while is a hard one for us. I had 3 girls and they could be as noisy as they wanted to be at home. They have to get it out somewhere and the privacy of their own home was fine with me. I learned to tune it out.
