I think as long as you provide your children with tools to work effectively in this cruel world, it’s definately worth it to have children. You can’t shield your child from everything but you can teach them how to cope.
I don’t think it’s a bad idea to raise a family if you have the time and money to do so. If you think about it, rasing them is made so much easier than back in the day because of the inventions that are out nowadays.
But it’s true that many people have kids and they don’t deserve or want them, which is sickening, but true. It’s great that you want to adopt.
Lots of people would rather not have to go through the tough adoption process, and some of them would like to start a family by having their own children because they get to enjoy the miracle of giving life to a child they created.
I sometimes have this thought having brought 3 kids into the world. It is a crazy place but I just couldn’t fight the instinct in me to reproduce. This world is violent and nasty but is it enough for me to fight that urge, well I couldnt. I think there are too many kids without help and basic rights and that is something that in this day and age we should be able to change. I cant answer your question yes or no, it isn’t that black and white for me.
